Hi, I'm Alison. I'm a health coach by day who enjoys cooking and searching for deals in my spare time. I have been couponing and meal planning for over two years now. My friends and family were always asking me "what should I make for dinner?" or telling me "I bought the sale items but I have no clue what to make" so I started thinking. Many people want to save money on groceries and cook easy, healthy meals but feel they don't have the patience or time to do it. I've created Coupon Kitchen just for that purpose! Each week I feature various menus of seven easy and healthy dinners based on the sales at your favorite grocery stores - for $50 or under! The menus are based on two people, but can easily be adjusted to fit a larger family.
Clipping coupons is a great way to cut down on your grocery bill. Since this site does not focus on how to coupon, visit Southern Savers for a complete Couponing 101. However, if you want to get the most nutrition out of your meals, it often comes from fresh produce and meat. That's where meal planning comes in! I thoroughly enjoy looking at the sale items each week to create a menu that will give you the most for your money. Combine couponing and meal planning and you will see the savings in no time. Click on the name of each meal for the full recipe and easily print out the shopping list to carry with you to the store. I hope Coupon Kitchen will make planning meals for you and your family a breeze!
Check out the media page for everywhere Coupon Kitchen has been featured. I write a weekly column for StarNews, blog for Port City Foodies, and sell jewelry at Tucker & Sawyer Boutique.
